DIY – Do It Yourself
Everyone is familiar with sites like ‘r/ThereIFixedIt’, but your own projects hopefully don’t look anything like those DIY dramas! If you’re good with your hands and have prepared well, consult the information, and practice before you do it ‘for real’, the results can really look almost professional.
This section of the site offers a range of basic tips… but our workers also enjoy giving personal tips. The available options and surrounding systems constantly develop in the building sector (as they should!) and it’s becoming much easier to get really good results. But it’s still hard work… It takes effort, and if you’re not used to physical labour, it will tire you out and give you sore muscles. Still, it does save you a lot of money, and you can be eternally proud of the work you did.
