Although there are still some great magazines that you can pick up and leaf through, online resources are an easy way to get lots of information and inspiration quickly. Here are links to some interior design websites to help you get started!

We suggest taking your time to explore all the possibilities available to you and find inspiration for fun, smart, interesting ideas or cute details. Ideally, you should take a structured approach. Search for (or at least keep track of) the ideas and styles for each room that appeal to you, and then go through the lists and eliminate the less appealing options until you end up with a great overview that suits your budget. If you come across great ideas that you could still do a couple years later, but would take you over budget now, make sure to write them down somewhere safe so you can come back to them later. The projects that have to be done right away can be finished first. We’ve seen in actual practice that you’ll probably have the budget and energy to come back to those plans a few years later. Now or never simply doesn’t apply here. So plan with your future in mind, postponing what you can and preparing for what needs to happen sooner.
